The first step is to remove worn and damaged grit. The plate is then inspected  and repaired if required before regritting
After drying thoroughly and cleaning a resin is applied followed by the grit. (Different grades of grit are available for specialist applications)
The components are then left in an oven @ 180 F for approximately 2 hours. Secondary coats are applied where necessary and component edges are then cleaned, removing any loose abrasive

 

A replacement barrel and bottom plate can be provided for your machine whilst yours is being regritted to reduce inconvenience for you and your business

If you send your worn barrel and bottom plate by carrier we will regrit them and send them back. Estimated time 2-3 days
